Eligibility

At least one must be met for the patient to be eligible for referral.

Clinically suspected or confirmed ovarian and other adnexal pathology with initial primary-care work-up completed

Red flags

Indicate urgent (Category 1) referral or emergency assessment.

Routine referral criteria

Determine Category 2 or 3 urgency.

Suspected malignancy identified on clinical examination or imaging

Pre-menopausal complex ovarian cyst, suspected endometrioma, or dermoid

Persistent and enlarging ovarian cyst confirmed with imaging performed at least 3 months apart

Symptomatic hydrosalpinx
