Suspected primary bone or soft tissue malignancy.

Eligibility

At least one must be met for the patient to be eligible for referral.

Standard history and examination with appropriate imaging

Red flags

Indicate urgent (Category 1) referral or emergency assessment.

Refer urgently to St Vincent's Hospital for further management — not seen at The Alfred

Do NOT perform needle biopsy

Usually managed in primary care
